The Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation sponsored a 2-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop for the B/35th Signal Company in Aguidilla PR.
SPTI was honored to facilitate the Workshop. The participants learned life-saving suicide prevention “first-aid” tools to recognize thoughts of suicide, have a conversation with a person having thoughts of suicide, and keeping that person safe for now. The goal is to provide these life-saving skills to decrease suicide attempts and deaths.
