Dr. Derrick “TC” Copper Honored as a Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero!
We are thrilled to share the news that our very own Dr. Derrick “TC” Copper, the Executive Director of SPTI, has been named a Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero! This recognition comes with a grant which will help further our mission of suicide prevention and education. We are honored to share this with Love IV Lawrence and the Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation.
TC’s commitment to saving lives has touched countless individuals. At SPTI, TC strives to provide life-saving resources, training, and support to empower communities to take action against suicide.
The $50,000 grant awarded alongside this recognition will allow SPTI to expand our outreach programs, increase access to vital resources, and strengthen our impact in the fight against suicide.
We are so grateful to the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation for recognizing the urgency of suicide prevention and honoring TC’s dedication to this cause.
